Super heroes possess superpowers that could either support or destroy humanity. In this case, Spiderman is no exception to this situation. If Spiderman have only thought of himself without considering his action and emotion – he might as well came out selfish. But, he took full responsibility of his every move and decision, in spite of, the people around him is relatively cold and insolent. We all know that his alter ego Peter Parker suffered so much from self-obsessions with rejection, inadequacy and loneliness. With all these self inflicting humiliation coming from the people who have maltreated him – he could have sought redress. However, he manages to control himself and gained dignity. He doesn’t learn discipline and morale from any adult mentors, unlike, his other contemporaries that were able to have one. He learns this valuable lesson from his “Aunt May and Uncle Ben” that, with absolute power, there must also come complete responsibility.

Unluckily for Peter he wasn’t the type of MJ and MJ choose Peter’s friend instead. This decision of MJ hurts Peter’s pride so much that he made an instant realization to accept himself who truly is Peter Parker than by being somebody else whom he is not. By this acceptance of oneself, it changes Peter into a better person and in the process, MJ notice Peter.
